Initial Situation

In the beginning was an insolvency with a lot of potential

NEXUS is a global provider of network monitoring solutions. Due to incorrect speculation by the owners, Nexus Telecom ran into financial difficulties in 2019. Together with the former core team, Generis founded a successor company and took over the company’s assets.

In this way, Generis was able to make a contribution to supporting customers and continuing the development of software solutions. Generis’ goal was to return the company to an orderly and independent operation. This step has now been completed. In autumn 2023, Generis sold its stake in NEXUS.

Investments, management and back office services

By developing an innovative financing concept, the financial stability and future viability of the company could be ensured when operations began.

In addition to equity investment, Generis was involved in the areas of operational management, finance and administration.

Achievements

Back to independence

By auctioning the assets from the bankruptcy estate in bidding competition with various foreign companies, it was possible to secure jobs in Switzerland in a future-oriented industry.

After developing the organizational structure, Generis became involved in business development and back office at NEXUS. After four years of joint operations, Generis sold its shares on NEXUS.
