Marco Jaggi takes over as new CEO of Generis Beijing

Marco Jaggi took over as head of Generis Beijing per 1st October 2016. His focus in leading the team of Chinese and Swiss nationals is to develop the business in China and to increase the close cooperation between the company’s Swiss headquarters and its Chinese subsidiary.
Jaggi studied Politics and Business Management at the University of Zurich. After completing his Masters, he moved to Shanghai in 2009, where he initially worked for the Sino-Swiss Chamber of Commerce and later joined a manufacturing and trading company.
From 2012-2015 he worked independently as a Management-Consultant, helping numerous businesses with market analysis, business strategy and intercultural communications issues as they sought to enter the market in China.
Jaggi joined Generis in November 2015 and in October 2016 was promoted to the Management Board. He speaks fluent Chinese and, in addition to his deep knowledge of China, he will be contributing considerable management experience as well as an extensive network of business contacts to Generis Beijing.
