25 years of Generis – 25 years of curiosity, commitment and team spirit

25 years ago, in 1992, Thomas Holenstein created Generis AG, and the landmark anniversary was fittingly celebrated in June 2017 with a joint event, bringing together staff from the company’s operations in Schaffhausen and Peking.
The team event ran for a week, with intensive discussions between colleagues from Generis Schaffhausen and Generis Peking – a major focus being the company’s three values: Curiosity, Commitment and Team spirit. Exchanges between staff covered how they deal with the range of cultural backgrounds they encounter, lessons learnt from the many high-profile and challenging projects the company has undertaken as well as how new solutions can be jointly created and potential new developments taken forward.
The time spent together helped both teams develop a better understanding of the other and brought staff from the operations in Schaffhausen and Peking closer together. The event strengthened the company’s internal network and laid the foundations for successful delivery of several forthcoming client projects which will involve company staff across continents.
Generis AG also expressed its gratitude to all staff and customers who have contributed to its exciting and successful journey over the past 25 years and who have helped shape the company into what it is today – curious about its clients’ challenges, committed to achieving the best solution for each client and collaborative in all its dealings with clients and wider stakeholder groups.
