Generis wins design award

At the 2nd World Eco-Design Conference (WEDC) in the Chinese city of Guangzhou, Generis AG won the Innovative Design Award. Generis was selected from over 2000 nominations and honoured for its work in the field of low-carbon and the transfer of knowledge between China and Switzerland.
As in 2018, Generis AG was also invited to the World Eco-Design Conference (WEDC) in December 2019. In its second edition, the conference attracted more than 1000 people from politics, research and business from over 30 countries to the Conghua Eco-Design Town in the Chinese city of Guangzhou. The aim of the conference is to strengthen the integration of design, ecology and society on a global level.
As an important partner of the Eco-Design City, the Generis was also part of the opening ceremony, where it received the Innovative Design Award. With Cleantech Switzerland and the “Sino-Swiss Low Carbon Cities” (SSLCC) project, the organization of numerous knowledge transfers between China and Switzerland and the implementation of various projects to reduce greenhouse gas emissions, Generis AG stood out from 2000 nominations from 30 countries, stated the jury.
The Innovative Design Award is co-sponsored by the World Ecological Design Conference and the «International Ecological Design Promotion Center» of the United Nations.
