The district of Gaochun in the city of Nanjing in China required support to develop a local industrial park.

Generis AG was commissioned to promote the location to Swiss SMEs in the Life Sciences and Cleantech sectors, representing the industrial park in Switzerland and raising awareness among the target audience via a range of approaches.

A project team at Generis was commissioned to adapt existing marketing collateral to suit a European audience. The next step was to generate a long list of businesses in the target sectors and to contact these to hold initial talks to explore potential interest in expanding overseas.

The team also initiated contact with Swiss SMEs and supported the development of dialogue with the Chinese client throughout a series of Fact Finding Missions to Switzerland.

Fact Finding Missions & Sector Analysis

Generis organised several Fact Finding Missions to Switzerland on behalf of the Chinese client. These provided the Chinese delegates with an opportunity to get to know businesses interested in expanding overseas.

Generis actively promoted Goachun as a business location at Swiss Trade Fairs and Exhibitions and a local office for the industry park was set up in Switzerland.
