Regional development strategy 2030​

In the summer of 2020, the Governing Council of the Canton of Schaffhausen, together with the regional business community, began the process of creating a development strategy for 2030. ​

From process design to moderating focus groups to developing proposals, generis organized and managed the process, engaging over 200 participants from start to finish. Generis supervised steering and advisory committees, led community outreach, and created the final guiding document, published under the title “next.”​

The resulting vision for the future of Schaffhausen includes 63 different project ideas, including objectives and plans, in areas like education, innovation, energy, and tourism. Next serves as a source for ideas, a framework for orientation, and a catalyst for change and growth.​
