Generis hosts virtual conference for Nanjing Innovation Week

To mark the occasion of Nanjing Tech Week 2020, Generis held a virtual conference on behalf of the Nanjing Overseas Coallaborative Innovation Center. The highlight of the event was the signing of a letter of intent LOI between Gaochun Industrial Hightech Zone and Ecocell.
After 2019, Generis again played an active role in this year’s edition of Nanjing Innovation Week, one of China’s largest industry promotion weeks. To mark the occasion the company organized an online conference on behalf of the Gaochun High-Tech Industrial Development Zone. The conference focused on the exchange of experiences and the display of showcases of Swiss-Sino innovation collaborations. In addition to keynote speeches by Christoph Schärrer, head of economic promotions of the Canton of Schaffhausen, and Song Weixing, party secretary of the Gaochun district, the event was attended by representatives of Switzerland Innovation, Swiss Materials and Ecocell. In addition to project introductions and presentations, a letter of intent was signed during the event between the Gaochun Hightech Industrial Development Zone and the company Ecocell, represented by the managing director Fredy Iseli.
Generis manages the business of the Nanjing Overseas Collaborative Innovation Center on behalf of Gaochun Hightech Industrial Development Zone. The center was established in Schaffhausen in April 2019. The center is working with the Gaochun district of Nanjing to actively promote innovation exchange between Switzerland and China. This includes the organization of delegation trips in science and technology in order to jointly evaluate new ways to establish innovative partnerships.
