Canton Schaffhausen renews economic development contract with Generis AG

Generis AG has secured the contract to lead and implement the economic development, regional development and place marketing remit for the Canton of Schaffhausen twice before in publically tendered procurements. Recognising Generis’ successful performance, the Governing Council of Schaffhausen has recently decided to extend the contract, prior to its termination date.

Generis has shown strong commitment to its remit, bringing a creative and entrepreneurial dimension to this work as well as positivity about the Canton’s strengths and opportunities – as a result, since 1997 more than 500 businesses have chosen to set up operations in Schaffhausen. „Generis AG has performed its role very well. The economic development benefits achieved are a real success story.“, the Governing Council commented when extending the contract.

For its part, Generis AG is delighted to receive this endorsement of its work by the Government of the Canton. It is a signal which provides impetus to drive forward the economic development of the Canton of Schaffhausen with renewed commitment and effort in future.
