Schaffhausen‘s Table Top Trade Fair: a success

150 exhibitors, more than 700 visitors and a fantastic atmosphere on the day: a winning combination which meant the 11th Schaffhausen Table-Top Trade Fair & Business Exchange organised by the Economic Promotion Team of the Canton of Schaffhausen was a great success.
Generis AG, which has been commissioned by the Canton of Schaffhausen to lead and manage the economic development of the Canton, has been running a Table-Top Trade Fair every second year since 1997. The aim of this B2B trade fair is to help businesses in the area to get to know each other and their respective products and services, promoting opportunities between local companies and thus strengthening the business community in the locality.
The Table-Top Trade Fair & Business Exchange gives businesses the chance to set out their stall in a simple and cost-effective manner, to catch up with existing contacts in the area and to identify other locally-based potential clients and suppliers.
The Fair invites exhibitors to present their goods and services on just one table-top, hence the name of the event, which enables firms to reach a large number of others in the local business community very cost-effectively. The simple format also works well in allowing new and micro-businesses to take the stage alongside larger and more established peers. The event is sponsored by the Cantonal Trades Association (KGV), the Industry & Commerce Association (IVS), the Canton of Schaffhausen and the city of Schaffhausen. 150 exhibitors, more than 700 visitors and a fantastic atmosphere on the day made the 11th Table Top Trade Fair & Business Exchange a great success.
