The Glarnerland is small but unique, with the pioneering spirit deep in the region’s DNA. For tourism positioning, the theme of «The Land of Alpine Pioneers» was a perfect fit.

Together with erlebnisplan AG, generis developed a concept of a supra-regional «adventure world» that would incorporate the region’s history and identity, while also highlighting new tourism beacons. A feasibility study and an initial market segmentation laid the foundation for targeted positioning of the Glarnerland tourism industry. At the same time, generis’s proposal demonstrated impacts beyond tourism and the potential to sustainably strengthen the entire region.
