The Inner Mattertal is a unique mountain environment with international appeal, particularly due to the Matterhorn. The region, with its three villages of Zermatt, Täsch and Randa, already offers a wide range of tourism infrastructure and opportunities.
The Matteral.aktiv initiative aims to further develop the Inner Mattertal as both a living space and a destination. The «360° Outdoor Adventure Area” has been divided into eight zones, each of which creates new opportunities to experience the outdoors. The ongoing initiative not only targets visitors, but also actively engages the municipalities and residents. Together with erlebnisplan AG, Generis supported the 360° Outdoor Association with the participatory process and the development of the master plan for the Outdoor Adventure Area.
