Renovating heating systems, using solar power, modernizing buildings, decarbonizing mobility – using resources more sustainably is a challenge for everyone. How do we get cities and municipalities to take action? How do we keep them motivated, consistent, and active in the energy transition? ​

Swiss Energy supports voluntary measures for the implementation of municipal energy and climate projects. In 2021, generis was commissioned to manage the Swiss-wide program. Subsidies for projects give energy conservation and climate protection a boost – but subsidies are only one component. Generis ensures that municipalites are informed, active, motivated and supported as they put their ideas into practice and move toward a more sustainable future.​

As a strategic partner, generis has processed over 100 funding applications, produced numerous webinars for municipalities and energy experts, and developed Best Practices. Generis makes energy and climate policy tangible and gives the right impetus for projects to make a more sustainable Switzerland.​
